FertiliTy

The treatment of women’s health with traditional Chinese medicine dates back over 3,000 years. These ancient time-tested techniques improve fertility rates but overall support a woman’s whole body, unblocking unlimited potential for health and childbearing. Acupuncture activates the body’s natural healing potential, treating root causes and positively affecting the reproductive system.

Acupuncture and TCM provide a safe, effective, drug-free, and natural approach to treating infertility as well as enjoying a healthy pregnancy. Acupuncture helps in balancing hormones, plus treating menstrual disorders.

Headache rejuvenation

An estimated 50 million people suffer from headaches ranging from minor to severe migraines. These headaches can be debilitating and take precious time away from our daily life. Though an array of medications is available, they only offer immediate pain relief. Common headache medications do not address the root cause of headaches.

TCM offers a safe and effective way to relieve headache pain, by addressing the root cause of the body’s disharmony; without creating harmful side effects.

AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE

Auriculotherapy is the stimulation of the auricle of the external ear for the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in other parts of the body. It is also known as ear acupuncture or auricular acupuncture when the stimulation is achieved by the insertion of acupuncture needles, whereas the term auriculotherapy often refers to electrical stimulation of the surface of ear reflex points. Specific points on the ear can also be stimulated by manual pressure, referred to as auricular acupressure or ear reflexology. Acupuncture points on the ear can also be stimulated with lasers, magnets, and ear pellets.

ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE

Electro-acupuncture is the term used to refer to the application of a pulsating electrical current to acupuncture needles, or even without needles, to acupuncture points on the body. The current is usually 40-80 volts, however, no current is actually transmitted through the body— there is only enough stimulation for the patient to feel a slight pulsating sensation. This technique was developed in China in the 1930's, Acupuncture operates on the idea that a person's Qi, or life force, runs through the body along certain meridians, and that specific points on the body correspond with these meridians. When these points are ‘activated' or stimulated by touch, specific complaints of chronic pain or illnesses can be alleviated. Using a gentle electrical current in conjunction with, or instead of, acupuncture needles is an alternative way to stimulate the point and enhance the body’s energy. While electro-acupuncture may be used as a component of almost all acupuncture treatments, it is has garnered especially good results regarding the treatment of neurological disease spasms, chronic pain, and paralysis. A standard treatment session usually lasts between 10 and 20 minutes and rarely exceeds half an hour.
